Do I need planning permission?
There are various buildings and structures that can be built in your garden or land surrounding your house which does not require planning permission. These can include summer houses, Gazebos etc. For information on whether planning permission is required for your structure there are various factors that must be considered dependant on your property. Where does the wood come from?
Western Red Cedar is a highly prized wood superior to other woods and chosen materials used in the construction of Garden Buildings and other outdoor structures. It originates in North America and Canada, is non-toxic and is sourced from managed renewable resources (managed forests under reforestation programmes). Customers can be assured by the superb natural quality of western red cedar and it is also environmentally friendly.
How long will it take to build?
All Victorian Garden Buildings are made to order and on a ‘first come first served basis’. Lead times (order to installation will vary throughout the year, during the high season, this can be as much as 8-10 weeks and 4-6 weeks during off peak periods. Installations are generally completed in one day (depending on location).
